Brian Food, FAFO! Exhibition
FAFO! (Fuck Around and Find Out) is a multifaceted exploration of consequence — not as punishment, but as evidence of impact. Similar to karma, both good and bad, this exhibition showcases the ripple effect behind every action or idea. Every unique gesture, decision, or risk sets something in motion, and guarantees reaction. FAFO! asks: “What happens next?”
The phrase “fuck around and find out” carries confrontation, but it also embodies curiosity that suggests experimentation, boundary-pushing, and an invitation to test one's limits. Currently, as social and cultural shifts feel immediate and unavoidable, we are faced with the opportunity to investigate the past and shape the future. Right now, you are subject to the consequences of things happening around you. Even by experiencing this exhibition, you have suddenly become a reaction to the FAFO! body of work. Similarly, the Artists behind FAFO! have channeled reactions to the media, sociocultural patterns, identity, and memory through a collection of digital media, sculpture, and 2-Dimensional works. In this exhibition, consequence invites a shared experience of reckoning — will this experience inspire debate, discomfort, memory, or thought? What will you “find out”?
